We noticed huge areas covered by this bright red-topped grass, and thought it looked very pretty, especially in the late afternoon sunlight. Was unaware (of course!) that it was an invasive species. Observed on the roadsides and in the paddocks (very commonly) around Chinchilla, Qld.
