I heard a really loud ‘swooshing’ of wings and was then amazed to see a flock of Magpie geese land in the branches of a tree above me. They looked like some throw-back to the age of dinosaurs… such huge birds sitting on such slender branches. And to see them take off again was amazing…This was at Tara lagoon, Qld.
