These Frigate birds regularly soared over Dundee Beach, near Darwin in the NT, while we were there, towards the end of the dry season. They could be seen in dozens, spiraling in the thermals; or in the early mornings chasing terns to steal their catch. Very graceful birds, though their behaviour is piratical.
