Plumed Egret

 These egrets have a roost in trees overlooking a billabong in Howard Springs, near Darwin. They return every night at dusk and fly off every morning at daybreak. Some days, single egrets would return earlier and hang around the billabong, waiting for bedtime, it would seem.
