Cane ToadS

Two BIG ones out in the morning sun – after a cold night. Note white substance (toxin?) one is exuding on shoulder area.

This is up in QLD, at Anakie in the Gemfields region. These two hopped off (sort of grudgingly) when me and the hound approached. One sort of raised itself up and offered a helpful shoulder – “lick me”, etc. No thanks. I’m sure these two would be filling the nearby dam with LOTS of little Toadlets.
